The Litter-Robot 4 is equipped with OmniSense detection that utilizes laser and weight sensor technology to provide real-time litter and waste drawer levels. • During each cycle the unit will measure the waste drawer capacity and check if the waste drawer is full. The Waste Drawer level will be displayed on the Whisker App. • If the Waste Drawer level on the App is not accurately representing the level in the waste drawer, there are a few inspection steps you must check in order to solve the problem. From there you can follow our step-by-step guide to fix it. • Check to see if the waste level on the app is accurate • Empty the waste drawer and replace with a new liner, ensuring the bag is fully inserted and fitted to the sides of the drawer. Then run a cycle and check the app. • Wipe the curtain sensors located at the top of the bezel using a cloth. We highly recommend vacuuming the curtain sensors, you can use a cotton swab to clean the inside of the curtain sensors. Then run a cycle then check the app. • Turn the unit off and unplug. Press and hold latches on the side to remove the bonnet. Grab the black handle on top of the globe and lift the globe off its base. Inspect and clean the seal strip then reinstall and turn on. • Open the Whisker app and select your Litter-Robot unit. Tap on “Settings” and check if there are any firmware updates. After updating, reset and cycle. • Recalibrate the sensors. Take out and clean the waste drawer and place plain white paper on the bottom. Insert the waste drawer and power the unit off. Press the buttons in order: Connect, Reset, Connect, Empty, Cycle. This will prompt a lamp test, if successful it will result in a yellow light with a flashing blue light.
