UPDATE 9/3: The video incorrectly refers to the baking soda and citric acid measurements as 'two tablespoons' - which was supposed to be 'two teaspoons' (which is about 3/4 tablespoon). The link to the measuring spoons was correct - they are two teaspoon sized - so if you bought them you are ok. • DISCLAIMER 3/10/21: The Sparkel folks have reached out and warned against DIY carbonation using the Sparkel device citing potential safety and longevity issues. If it wasn't obvious from the context of the video DIY carbonation is done at your own risk and, obviously, is strongly discouraged by Sparkel. • The Sparkel Drink System does what a normal drink carbonator (like a SodaStream) only it doesn't require the cumbersome compressed CO2 canisters and with no restriction on what liquids you can carbonate. Instead it uses science to produce carbon dioxide from common chemicals to create a similarly fizzy drink.
