I originally mounted my rigid R4331 and later replaced it with a 90# DW735 planer. The design is original and my own but the inspiration for this build comes from the American Woodworker's Power Tool Friendly Bench article and video: • Power Tool Friendly Bench . • This mount design can be adapted to allow various power tools to fold and glide away under a bench and then rapidly set-up for use. It consists of a drawer and four-bar linkage to raise and support the platform. This project is a continuation of the building/optimizing of my micro woodworking shop.
