Sohan is an Iranian delicacy. Sohan is usually has a “wheat” base and making it is a very cumbersome process. There is an easy way to make a similar version of Sohan with tahini. Specially if you use the right amount of spices like saffron and cardamom, the taste will be very similar and delicious. It is very easy to make. There are few tricks. Make sure that sugar is being caramelized on medium low heat slowly and stir few times and don’t let it burn. • After sugar melts all the way, add rest of the ingredients at once and mix very fast. You can do this process on the stove top if you on a very low heat.
