I'm going to show you how to make a recipe for Olive Garden • Alfredo sauce at home, in your own kitchen. • My name is Stephanie Manley, and I've been making copycat recipes on the • internet for over 15 years. I'm going to show you how to make a copycat • recipe for the Olive Garden Alfredo sauce, and when you're done with this, • no-one's going to know it didn't come from the Olive Garden. • For the Olive Garden Alfredo sauce, you're going to need the following • ingredients. You're going to need one pint of heavy cream, don't use Half • and Half. Don't use milk. It won't come out the same. You're going to need • ¼ pound of butter. You're going to need between a ½ - ¾ cup of grated • parmesan cheese. Go ahead and grate that yourself. Don't buy the pre-grated • parmesan cheese, because it won't melt as well, and you're going to need • about a teaspoon of garlic powder. • Let's get cooking, so we're going to start with a ¼ pound of butter. We're • just going to put that in the pan and let it melt. This sauce comes • together very quickly so it's a great recipe to make for during the week. • Then we're going to add one pint of heavy cream. We're going to heat this • until it gets nice and bubbly. • I usually heat my stove on a medium-high heat. I don't it all the way up • high because I don't want it to scorch, but I do want to get it to where it • simmers, maybe like a soft, rolling boil because this is going to make my • cheese melt very quickly. This is bubbling just perfectly when you see • these nice, soft bubbles right here. • So now I'm going to add my parmesan cheese. Some people like a little bit • of white pepper to their Alfredo sauce or even a little bit of nutmeg, goes • very well in Alfredo sauce. So I've added my parmesan cheese, now I'm going • to add my garlic powder for just a little extra flavor. So now we're just • going to stir, until the cheese is completely melted and our Alfredo sauce • will be ready. • Connect with me at • Pinterest • / boards • G+ • https://plus.google.com/1155298754262... • Facebook • / copykatdiningoutathome • Instagram • / copykatrecipes • Twitter • http://www.twittler.com/copykatrecipes • Food Spotting • http://www.foodspotting.com/858153 • Tumblr • / copykatrecipes • Ebates - Receive Rebates on things you already purchase online • http://www.ebates.com/rf.do?referreri...
