The Patient Bufonid is the reward from The Burrowed Bufonoid quest chain offered by Avna in Zereth Mortis. Each quest tasks you with collecting items in an attempt to lure the Patient Bufonid out of the water. After completing a quest you need to wait for the daily reset to get the next one. • Once you complete the 7th quest the Patient Bufonid will jump out of the water and Avna will immediately offer the final quest which will reward you with the Patient Bufonid. • Some bufonids will sit perfectly still for hours or days at a time if left to their own devices.
