Remember these things? Portable record players like this one used to be really common in schools and similar institutions. They're not the highest quality items, and probably not good for playing any valuable or high quality records. Even so, they are handy for auditioning records that you might run across or listening when away from a proper stereo system with a turntable. • • Califone International still makes players like this.
