A Eurasian Collared Dove (Streptopelia decaocto) singing (cooing) on Gabriola Island, British Columbia. • In the mid-1970's, less than 50 of these doves were released in the Bahamas. Since then, Eurasion collared doves have prolifically colonized the North American continent.
