Adding visual grids to your prototype project 😅 • Steps as mentioned in the video: • 1. Download my FREE grid texture https://bit.ly/freegrid4unity • 2. Drag the downloaded image to the Assets folder in the Project tab of your Unity project • 3. Create a Plane by click GameObject then 3d Object then Plane • 4. Drag the Grid Texture image in your Assets folder to the Plane you just created • 5. Make sure that the Plane is selected and go to Inspector tab • 6. Under the Material Properties in the Main Maps section, look for Tiling and change the X and Y Dimensions to your liking • 7. You now have a Grid for testing your Prototypes on • 8. It's now time for us to test and finish our games 😅😂😥😭 Note: You can also apply this method on any 3d Objects in Unity. Use my image texture as a template if you like to make your own grid. The recommended dimension is at the least a 128x128 pixel grid or more as long as it's a square. • Everything i used in making this is free 🙂 • App used in Scanning myself: @displaylandhq 's display.land • Software used : Unity3d and Aseprite • Animation: Adobe's Mixamo • #madewithunity #gamedev #indiegamedev
