Permanent Presidential Music Commission presents Obokano - a lyre from Kenya, with its cultural dance. • THIS IS THE STORY OF THE OBOKANO • Obokano - This is a Gusii lyre. It is an 8 stringed instrument. The strings run from the resonator to to the cross bar. The instrument is tuned through adjusting the rufia note that joins them to the cross bar.
