Date filmed: 21/04/2021 • Video filmed at 16:01 • Route: East Suffolk Line • Between Wickham Market and Saxmundham Stations • Location: Farnham Road, Blaxhall • Trains: Class 755 (Greater Anglia) - 0:35 • Lowestoft ➡ Ipswich • An automatic half barrier level crossing with rather loud alarms located at the edge of the settlement of Blaxhall, in turn on the edge of the Suffolk Coast and Heaths. What's most notable about this level crossing is how one of the four wigwags here is very high up (the one seen on the left in this video) as it needs to be seen whilst coming down the road. LED white level crossing floodlights illuminate the level crossing for approaching trains, which can be heard approaching before the level crossing is activated. • This video was filmed from the steps up to a public footpath, with the help of ultra-wide. • Thanks for watching!
