There are a few differences between the two. For example, frozen will give you a much thicker and colder drink. It might slightly be more bitter or sweeter depending on the quality and freezing method used for the fruit. • There is a huge range of fantastic benefits you will get from drinking this smoothie due to the amount of fruit in it. If you're a bit wary of your sugar intake, you can leave the honey to help reduce the amount of sugar in the smoothie. • If you work out tons and love having a good protein drink, then add your favorite protein powder, and you will have a drink that is both tasty and loaded with protein. I would personally only add about one tablespoon for the standard recipe. • If you like an extra chilled drink, then adding about a ½ cup of ice will do just that.
