How do you program a keypad that has no enter key? For the LM387 keypad, you have to use the # key and 0 to program the keypad. The keypad is variously known as Clicker or Liftmaster Universal 387 keyless entry. • Some people have trouble programming the keypad. The fault seems to be at the last step when you are told to enter pin and then press 0 . Sometimes the door opener does not synchronize (either click or flash light open light bulb) with the keypad when the 0 button is not held long enough. I held the 0 key for about 2 seconds and then I heard the opener clicked. • The door opener manual instruction sometimes won't work with the remote keypad.
