Today we're playing Story Clap! This game works in a large group or even one-on-one. Jocelyn Greene (Executive Director, Child's Play NY) explains the ways to build your own story. Use your favorite fairy tale, myth or fable as a jumping off point to discover more about the characters. Designate a story conductor/clapper who can help the narrative sequencing along with words like, Suddenly... , But then... , Finally... . Dr. Bronwyn Charlton (Seedlings Group) weighs in how this game boosts literacy and helps kids practice listening.
