“This video is presented in a national research competition, Lomba Peneliti Belia Nasional • 2023, hosted by Universitas Multimedia Nusantara and Center for Young Scientists • Indonesia.” • Introduction • Based on data from the Indonesian Plastic Industry Association (Inaplas) and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Indonesia will produce 85,000 tonnes of plastic bag waste by 2022. • Bioplastics also have great potential for the future because it can reduce dependence on plastics that are detrimental to the environment. If bioplastics decompose in the soil, it will become fertiliser so that it fertilises the surrounding plants. If bioplastics decompose in water, they can become alternative fish feed. • Conclusion • 1. Bioplastics when burned are odourless and produce ash. • 2.
