Zeus presents Rastan (un-emulated) for the C64, a true classic from the golden era of C64 gaming which must not be forgotten alongside the software house and all programmers that were involved in making this game. • Year of release: 1988 • Welcome to the 5th part of my Rastan marathon, this time I give you the C64 longplay of this classic. • Included in this longplay is the cracking Ocean Loader III which certainly get's you in the mood for any game following it. • Music wise is very good with an excellent rendition of the arcade in-game music but no sound fx whilst music is on. • The graphics are a little blocky especially the characters,...looks like Rastan got himself a sun tan :-/ • Gameplay is a little tricky and to me felt a little out of sync with the backgrounds, it was very hard t jump sometimes as he has a very small leap. • This version also has a serious bug in it, there is one point where it is impossible to reach one of the ropes resulting in you falling in to a pit of fire but thanks to a no die no sink poke (Thank you Kamilz for those pokes!), I have been able to record this game in full. • As said, I have used several no die pokes to get through this game so I could record it in full for your viewing pleasure. • I hope all you C64 fans enjoy this upload. • Please note: NONE of my game uploads are emulated in any way whatsoever, they are 100% original recordings by myself taken directly from the original hardware the game was intended for, that way you know you're watching the real thing. • I will also always state weather i am using any cheats in the game, if not mentioned then i am not using any. • Check out my channel ( / zeusdaz , dedicated to gamers who loved the games of yesteryear. • Switch to 480p for best video quality and feel free to leave comments on my channel and vid's. • Keeping the memory of the C64 and it's cool games alive!!!
