Cost was in excess of £2500 for the part. • Total time for the mechanical work was around 2 hours, bleeding, calibrating and testing took a further hours work. • For those worried about SMG issues the pumps are usually easily refurbished and costs are no longer as crazy as they once were, the video demonstrates its not a particularly big job to remove and refit. • This particular had suffered an unusual issue and required a part which was not available without purchasing the whole pump.
