samsung galaxy tab A 105 2021 charging port replacement

Today we are working on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. I purchased this on eBay in a non working state. Described as having a faulty charge port. On inspection it would appear the charger port innards were missing and when plugged in the charger socket and cable would get hot indicating a short. I purchased a replacement charge port and got to work. All in all the repair took around 40min and requires a number of tools. • To repair this your going to need a heat plate or some kind of heating impliment.
