In this video, I will discuss which #sensors are important to evaluate critical process parameters in #bioreactors. Controlling these parameters, such as mixing, pH, temperature, etc, is vital to guarantee the quality of products, particularly in the #pharmaceutical industry (think of for instance vaccine production). • We will focus on physiochemical properties and not on analysing properties of the #microorganisms, which will be a separate video in the bioreactors playlist. Another important issue that will be addressed is the placing of the sensors and the difference between online, atline, and inline monitoring.
