Did you know there is an actual stairway to Heaven in China, and that it has 999 steps? Tianmendong or Tianmen Cave in #Zhangjiajie in central #China's Hunan province is a large water-eroded hole between two peaks. It looks like a door leading up to #heaven. Chinese people believe that nine is a lucky number as it represents good fortune and eternity. In 1999, stunt pilots flew through Tianmen Cave.
