Visite du moulin à huile de Chanaz - Savoie - France • Le moulin est alimenté par un ruisseau appelé le Biez - ce moulin à eau a été restauré dans son état originel, et sa roue à augets permet de mouvoir à nouveau les engrenages et la meule. Il date de 150 ans - A l'origine il fonctionnait uniquement avec la force de l'eau. Aujourd'hui l'électricité est venue prêter main forte. • Après le passage par la presse pour écraser soit les noix, soit les noisettes et les amandes, la pâte passe par le séchoir à une température de 60° - Ensuite la pâte séchée est mise dans la presse pour obtenir une huile 1ère pression à froid. Et l'huile coule parfumée et onctueuse.
