If you find Don Julio at ‎‪@studioparadise2025‬ or Moxché by ‎‪@SecretsResorts‬in Playa del Carmen, post it with the hashtags #donjuliosecrets #wheresdonjulio #savedonjulio and tag Uisge Beatha Clowder! • The reality of Don Julio's situation is heartbreaking, but the spark in his eyes and his resilience to survive against the odds, ignited a determination to fight for his well-being. • Leaving him on our last night was a poignant and difficult farewell, laden with uncertainty and questions plaguing us that we couldn't resolve for him, despite all the permutations and combinations of potential solutions we were trying to brainstorm. • The resort staff also acknowledged the lack of care for the resident cats, intensifying our worries: • Even though we took him to the vet and gave him much needed medicine, the effects would only last for 30 days, and we have no one to follow up and continue his medication each month. • Who will watch over Don Julio and his feline companions? • Who's going to sterilize and give medical care to the rest of the kitties at the resort? • What happens if one of them gets critically ill or injured? • Did You Know? • Coco's Animal Welfare has set up Cat Cafés at a few major resorts in this area, in partnership with ‎‪@riuhotels‬in Cancun ‎‪@iberostar‬. This provides cats at these resorts with medical care, sterilization, and enrichment, with access to clean water and shelter. The cats in turn, provide a natural, biological pest-control service. We SO desperately want to make this a reality, to help the Don Julios in as many resort properties as possible! • 2.
