First of all, we note the similarity with some models of the BMW range. But there is a reason why. Voge is the premium brand of the Chinese company Loncin Motorcycle, born in 2018 to develop motorcycles other than those already in the range, with higher performance and more advanced technology. The Chinese giant Loncin has been collaborating with BMW Motorrad for almost a decade. Both the engines of the Bavarian scooters and the two-cylinder in-line used in the F series models are produced in the Loncin plant. As you will have understood, therefore, Voge has exploited this partnership to create the new 900DS, which shares many details with the great German manufacturer, BMW. • The Valico 900 will therefore be equipped with an 895 cc in-line twin (that of the F 900 R and F 900 XR), with double overhead camshaft distribution and liquid cooling. It is an engine delivering 96.5 HP at 8,250 rpm. and with a peak torque of 91 Nm at 6,250 rpm. , which we can imagine will offer riding modes and various electronic controls. The gearbox is six-speed. • The frame, suspension, spoked wheels, and tubeless tires, as well as Brembo brakes, are also similar to the German one. The new Voge Valico 900DS 2023 has upside-down forks, 21 ”-17” spoked rims, fitted with semi-studded tires in 90/90 and 150/70 sizes.
