This is a six by fifty cigar with a Connecticut broad leaf wrapper and binder and filler from the Dominican Republic. The cigar has a slightly toothy and a dry appearance. There's some earthy notes off the foot of the cigar. And there's a slight Cocoa flavor on the cold draw. There's an earthy note on the front of the palate and a little bit of wood and a touch of spice on the finish. I'll be back in a few minutes to discuss the first third of the cigar. • The first third of the cigar has had some slightly sweet flavors on the front of the palate with some herbal notes mixed in, and the finish has been mostly woodsy with a little bit of spice. The cigar so far has been producing big plumes of smoke, has had great ash, great draw, and very consistent burn, so a great construction on the cigar so far. • The sweet flavors have gotten a bit stronger in the second third of the cigar and there's a spicy note added to that sweetness as well, kind of like a cinnamon. The finish is still mostly woodsy but has lost the spice. The burn and draw on the cigar are still excellent. • • The final third of this Free Cuba Churchill has lost the sweetness on the front of the palate. The flavors are mostly woodsy with a little bit of herbal notes mixed in, and the finish continues to be mostly woodsy. And the pepper flavors have returned on the finish and they're stronger than they were on the first third of the cigar.The cigar started off being mild bodied but picked up to a medium by the end and has been a medium strength cigar so it would be good for an early afternoon or first-cigar-of-the-evening smoke. • The cigar as I've been mentioning throughout the whole review has had a great construction, a very consistent burn. I haven't had to touch it up or re-light it at all. And the draw has been perfect. The cigar also produces a lot of smoke which I know a lot of you enjoy.
