The first part of my submission to the 2020 Tool makers competition. Making a shop built coax indicator designed by William Todd (link to plans below). Being an amateur hobby machinist, this is by far the most precision and complex build I have ever attempted so I really hope I complete it. The nature of this first part reminded me of parts that Chris at Clickspring would make hence my attempt at a snarky tribute. I hope you enjoy and be sure to check out Emma's Spareroom Machine Shop (   / @emmaritson  ) who is hosting the #TMC2020. • Link to plans for the coaxial indicator - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HuoZ... • Items used in this video: • Metric reamer set - https://amzn.to/3fLHA1e • IGaging DRO - https://amzn.to/2Kjdvse • ER25 Collets - https://amzn.to/2KsLq1L • ER25 to Morse Taper 3 (MT3) Collet holder - https://amzn.to/2wYOOOE • Good cheap digital calipers - https://amzn.to/2IDBNg7 • 4 Precision vise - https://amzn.to/2B0iNnT • Spindle DRO - https://amzn.to/2Oz1mTq
