You now have several ways you can GetPaid. • Your first step is to add an item you want to sell. First, enter a title for the item. Next, set the price. From here you can also allow users to name their price , this is useful for things such as donations. You also have the option to make the item a recurring subscription charge. • Now that you have your first item, You can get paid via, Buy Now buttons, custom payment forms, and Invoices. Let's run through a quick example of each. • For a Buy Now button, you can grab the shortcode from the item sidebar, or you can use our GetPaid Block to place the button on any post or page of your site. All our functionality is also available via our widget and shortcode builder. Allowing you to place a buy now button anywhere on your site, including using page builders. • On a new page, just search for GetPaid . Add the block to the page. This block can be used to output a custom payment form (which we will cover later) or a single or multiple item, Buy Now button. • Enter the item ID that you created and then enter the text you would like for the button. Save the page and then view the result. • Next are Custom Payment Forms , this is GetPaid's most powerful feature. You can create payment forms to do just about anything. You can add multiple items to a form or you can have users select one or more items as options, and even let users select multiples of items. • For our example, we will create a donations form. For a donation, you may want to collect as little personal information as possible, so here we can set only the email address and leave out things like name and address fields. Next, add the Price Input field and set the options you want. Once Saved, take note of the form ID. • If we head back to our first example, we can change this to a donations form by removing the item ID, and entering our payment form ID. If you want this to be a button that opens a lightbox, you can change the text, or to show the form directly, just remove the button text. Save, and view the results. • Lastly, you can be paid via invoice. Simply create an Invoice and send it to your customer, your customer will be able to click a link in their email and pay the invoice. From your backend Invoicing screen, you can tell when the customer has viewed the invoice and you will be emailed when it's been paid.
