GROWING STRAWBERRIES INDOORS FOR THE WINTER

We picked up some strawberries for our new gardens the other day but with near freezing temperatures in the near forecast I have no choice but to grow them indoors for the winter! Growing them indoors will be pretty simple and i shouldnt see too much growth out of them because the strawberries will still be in a semi dormant state due to the lighting period and cooler temperatures they will be subject to in our basement. • I will have our grow lights on for 6-8 hours a day depending on how my plants are all doing, this amount of light will help trick the strawberries into thinking its winter. As for watering, the strawberries will only need to be watered once every 2-3 weeks.
