Review of Aootek Solar Motion LED Lights that I've used for seven weeks now. We've had a lot of overcast winter days, some of them with snowfall or rain, yet these lights work even after a snowstorm blocked the sun all day. • The solar lights aren't very bright compared to wired electric lights, but they give enough light to see what one's doing. That said, they stay on for only 15 seconds if one doesn't keep moving. Keep moving and they stay on the bright mode. • Initially I set these solar lights to stay off until they detect motion, but found that 15 seconds of light irritatingly short. So I set them to come on at a dimmer light, then turn bright when they detect motion. That's much better. If one doesn't move, then the light returns to the dimmer light after 15 seconds. One isn't left in the pitch black dark. • Aootek advertises that these solar motion lights detect motion at 26 feet. That's not my experience. Rather, the farthest range is about 18 feet when coming straight towards the light. When coming from the side, they detect motion at ten feet. • These are sold in a pack of four lights. Each light has 120 LEDs with a reflector, casts light at a 270° wide angle, and is rated IP65 waterproof. • I bought mine off of Amazon. Here's a link to them (not an affiliate link, I get no kickback if you buy it) - • https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NQ4L1SB?... • If you can stomach Amazon's current rural delivery system to your home, go for it. Otherwise have it delivered to an Amazon locker, where you pick it up. • Or explore the Walmart shopping app for something similar, as they don't sell these yet, if you prefer shopping from there since your rural home delivery will come to your door in only two or three days via FedEx. • #offgrid • #solarlights • #amazonfinds • #reviews
