We'll also show you what comes with your Garmin Striker and how to start up the unit. • Using the Garmin Striker: • How to Use the Garmin Striker Contour... • Here's an overview of the steps we took: • 1. Determine the best location for the transducer, the (Fishfinder) unit wiring. • 2. Mount the unit to the vessel. • 3. Run the transducer cable power lead. • 4. (Assure the battery is off/disconnected) Connect the power lead. • 5. Utilize the transducer mount template to determine mark its location. • 6. If necessary, fill any holes that will not be utilized. • 7. Drill the needed holes. • 8. Attach the transducer mount to the vessel. • 9. Attach the transducer to the transducer bracket. • 10. Attach the transducer bracket to the mount. • 11. Secure the transducer cable to the transom install the cable-entry cover. • 12. Turn on/connect the battery.
