New song by MARETU! This one slaps so hard for no reason omg, definitely one of my favorites. • Though it is a short song which is sad but nonetheless it is amazing! As always, take translation with a grain of salt, just providing my take on the song :) • Original Song by MARETU! I do not own this song: • 【初音ミク】 ニューダーリン 【オリジナル】 • Notes: • -The mix of Japanese in the beginning does translate to “Play Me” • 1:21 “Lower body standing up” may refer to well- the part when a man gets excited. This may go along side other translations that mention the sexual innuendo of “lotion” • -The image shows a gap on the ring finger alluding to the indication of marriage • My Interpretation: If this is connected to the original Darling, I may say it’s more so a sequel since it literally is called “New Darling”. Either way it goes, perhaps the narrator got married but experienced abuse both physically and sexually.
