Director Rob Howard told CinemaBlend “there’s no sequel planned” for Solo. But in a podcast for Lights, Camera, Barstool “I think there is interest in those characters. I think there’s interest in [the] gangster world… somewhere down the line.” • In an interview with Esquire, actor Alden Ehrenreich confirmed that he is signed on to make three more films. • According to director Rob Howard the film would have involved a war between various criminal factions in Star Wars.
