Collins Rock, the location that Captain Cook first tried to land in Australia... Imagine how different this area would have been if he did successfully land here... • This location is also home of the Woonona Rockpool which has both a man-made and natural rockpool • The natural rockpool is a little awkward to get to as it involves climbing over an old rock pool wall and some shallow water crossings (dependant on tide and weather of course) and is approx 2-3wide by 4-5m long and appears to be on shallow end of depth but enough to have a cool down.
