Before you tell me this is impossibly long to watch, most of the video is going through examples of calculations, so a good way to use this video may be to have a go at the questions, skip to the answers and check your knowledge. If you got it right, you can skip a large portion of the video onto the next skill, and if you didn't get it, there's a clear explanation for you to watch. Secondly, there are just lots of calculations you need to know, especially if you're doing a higher tier exam. • This video covers all the calculations you need to be able to do in Chemistry Paper 1. Anything mass, formula mass or mole related is fully explained, along with a method you can apply to almost any calculation. Concentration calculations are also explained, and anything only appearing in higher exams is clearly marked out, although according to the AQA advance info, no calculations have been taken out. • Topics Covered: • 0:00 - Intro + Advance Info • 1:13 - Law of Conservation of Mass • 5:15 - Relative Formula Mass • 8:33 - Percentage Mass Calculations • 13:33 - The Mole • 23:47 - Balancing Equations using Moles • 26:53 - Limiting Reactant Calculations • 33:45 - Concentration in g/dm^3 • 37:27 - Concentration in mol/dm^3 • 45:44 - Percentage Yield • 53:22 - Atom Economy • 58:00 - Volume of Gas Calculations • 1:02:32 - How to Revise
