Polar Express Vanishing Point Perspective

In this art lesson I introduced my second graders to vanishing point perspective. After reading The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg to the class we discussed the illustrations of the train in the book. They noticed that the parts of the train that are close are larger and it gets smaller as it moves further away.
