We come from heaven • To bring you your heart’s desire, • Since the good Lord in the blue sky • Is sorrowful when you sigh. • Would you like the beautiful gold censer, • Or the blooming crown of roses? • Would you like the robe, or instead • A necklace of blossoming silver? • Would you like the fruits of heaven • Or wheat from the celestial granges? • Or, like the shepherds of olden times, • Would you like to see Jesus in his cradle? • -Noel!
