/ @nenrikigaming Choro-Q (MSX game) • • Choro Q is a side-scrolling platform game for the MSX home computer system, developed and published by Taito and licensed by Takara. It’s the first video game based on the Choro-Q toy line. • In the game, you control a yellow Volkswagen Beetle (Type 1) Choro-Q, equipped with a surfboard carrier. Your goal is to construct two additional VW Beetles while dealing with hostile Choro-Q cars that try to hinder your progress. You can defeat these enemy cars by jumping on them. • The components for the Beetles are located on the edges of a three-tiered platform system and need to be pushed off for assembly. You can jump on the platforms to reach these parts. You can lose lives by assembling in the wrong order, crashing into a wall at high speed, falling from a high platform, colliding with an enemy Choro-Q, or getting hit by an artillery shell. Losing all lives results in a game over. • Once you complete a VW Beetle, it leaves behind a power-up (represented by a coin-like icon with a dollar sign) that gives you temporary invincibility, allowing you to run through enemy cars. You complete the round by assembling both VW Beetles. • • Chapters • 00:00 Round 1 • 01:31 Round 2 • 02:32 Round 3 • 03:24 Round 4 • 04:35 Round 5 • 05:54 Round 6 • 07:00 Round 7 • 08:14 Round 8 • 09:44 Round 9 • 11:06 Round 10 • 12:29 Round 11 • / nenrikigaming
