12 Day Hiking Mt Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Lakes Nov 2023

In October-November 2023, fourteen of us hiked to Mount Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Lakes. This proved to be the best hike I have ever experienced. Everest Base Camp (EBC) is more than just a checkbox or a destination signaling us to turn back; it is a symbolic milestone. However, the journey toward it, with its stunning mountains, glaciers, rivers, terrains, and the trail we traversed, is incredibly beautiful and breathtaking. The physical pain we endured along the way was real, but the joy it brought was for the soul.
