Dark Souls 2 Walkthrough Pt12 Earthen Peak and Pate

Here in Earthen Peak , there is a number of goodies to be found. For one, you can find Mild Mannered Pate to keep his quest going. Just follow the route I show you in this video to do that. Pate will also give you Pate's Set , Pate's Spear , and the Ring of Thorns for helping him earlier in the playthrough. You can find Great Heavy Soul Arrow in a chest that Pate tells you about. The Mirrah Shield is aslo in a chest in this level. I forgot to grab another Lightening Spear miracle while I was there :-(. If you talk to Pate, and go out the door where you found Great Heavy Soul Arrow, turn right and drop down a level. Lightening Spear is in a chest in a hidden area in the wall there.
