After a while in development, it's in Beta stages and absolutely full of content. Hundreds of new spells, dozens of new weapons, entirely remade dungeons, 27 new classes, and a fully opened-up world that can be explored in many new directions. The new method of gaining spells is fun and encourages exploring areas in their new forms, and so many new viable build types have been created with the new categories of gear and spells. The new bosses can be pretty hard, and areas and dungeons with new geometry are impressive with lots of work to remix them meaningfully. Overall, The Convergence is my favorite Elden Ring mod for the same reasons it was my favorite Dark Souls 3 mod: huge amounts of variety and effort to alter the experience in creative and interesting ways.
