If you haven't seen the first two videos... • Part 1 • I Sold The Oldest Car I Own Bought ... • Part 2 • Tearing Into My 996 Carrera Part 2. I... • This update is long overdue but its HERE. This is the 3rd video on my 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera. This was a car I bought that was supposed to be turn-key and somehow it turned into this big project. Its starting to finally come together. Between waiting on parts, and preparing to have kiddo #2(she's here, and everyone is doing great!), I had to put this project on the back burner but I had a bunch of footage I was able to edit for this video. • In this video I attempt to clean the intermix out of the cooling system, take the engine down to to the IMS bearing to discover I waited for the replacement bearing for NO REASON, reassemble the engine with some new hardware, and clean everything up preparing for reassembly. • I am still waiting on a few parts to go back together but those should be in soon! I'm hoping to have another final update on this non-project car car project soon but family comes first. • As always I appreciate all the comments, feedback and even the criticism. • Catch you on the next one! • -Eric
