We arrived early and managed to check-in at around 11.30am. There were 3 or 4 check-in counters so there was no queue. Unfortunately the hotel was full and we were unable to get an upgrade. Our room rate granted us late check-out till 6pm. • ~ Room Experience ~ • At 42sqm, the room size is average for hotels in Singapore. The modern heritage design was tastefully pleasing and the room was brightly lit, despite the dull weather and internal courtyard facing. The room comes with a tablet for you to browse the in-room dining menu and general information about the hotel. The tablet felt underutilised. The Harmon Kardon Bluetooth speaker produced commendable sound. The TV was large and the content of high quality. The bathroom had a large soaking tub that offered a good recline posture. Unfortunately, besides the 2 complimentary packets of water, there were no other edible amenities in the room. After having stayed at the Andaz Singapore and experiencing the freedom and peace of mind a complimentary minibar affords, staying at the Fullerton Hotel felt like a step backwards. That said, overall the room was comfortable and recommended. • ~ Pool Gym Experience ~ • There were staff regulating access to the pool and gym. The pool and gym require pre-booking. Be sure to make a pool and gym slot booking before your stay . Good time slots are hard to come by. Due to the inclement weather, there were limited opportunities to use the pool during our stay. The gym was large and treadmills had plastic dividers between them. The pool was also quite sizeable and offers a nice view of Boat Quay and the hotel's façade. • NOTE: As our stay was during the COVID-19 period, our experience may differ from the norm at this hotel. • Audio: Travel With Us - Vendredi • For any business, press or industry related enquiries, please contact • [email protected]
