—----------------- LINKS —---------------------- • 🌐 https://www.scottflathousephoto.com • / scottflathousephotography • / scottflathousephoto • / scottflathouseportraits • • Earlier this year, I had the incredible opportunity to rent the Canon RF 600mm lens to photograph the Chevron Houston Marathon and do some sports portraits with the amazing professional triathlete, Sika Henry • The Canon RF 600mm lens is a monster weighing in at 7.5 pounds and I couldn’t wait to take it out and see how well it worked paired with my Canon R5. • Here you see exactly what my camera sees as we try to get some shots of Sika running towards me. She was so far away, people inadvertently walked into the frame between us. • Eventually we were able to get some great shots, but I think I’ll stick to my 70-200mm lens for marathons and portraits and save the 600mm lens for field sports.
