Bakken, also known as Dyrehavsbakken, is the world's oldest amusement park situated in the Par Force Hunting Landscape of Jægersborg Deer Park. • Its history dates back to 1583 when people came to drink from the healing spring during the summer. As time passed, tents and stalls were erected, providing entertainment and selling items, and the park became a site for celebrations. • Today, Bakken is a family-friendly amusement park featuring rides, a theatre for children, restaurants, bars, and live music. The park's historical value and unique location have resulted in the ban of big brands and neon signs, making way for colourful wooden structures, small independent shop owners, and quirky stalls. • The park offers free entrance, and the main attraction remains its many rides, including the 82-year-old wooden rollercoaster. • To ensure a perfect summer day for your family, take an S-train or Sound-train from Copenhagen to Bakken, where entrance to the park is free. However, tickets or a day-pass are required for the rides, which are open on weekends from the end of March to the beginning of September. • Subsribe on Happy Traveler - / @happytravelerhd
