Microsoft's attempt to complete its $69-billion buyout of gaming giant Activision Blizzard has hit a temporary roadblock. A US judge has put the acquisition on hold -- a court order in favour of regulators seeking to block the deal. Microsoft and Activision now have two days to submit evidence to stop a preliminary injunction. Otherwise, before any deal could be struck, regulators will have a chance to make their case in court. Regulators have argued that Microsoft's acquisition deal would give the company's Xbox exclusive access to Activision Blizzard games and weaken competition. • Subscribe to our channel here: https://cna.asia/youtubesub • Subscribe to our news service on Telegram: https://cna.asia/telegram • Subscribe to our news channel on WhatsApp: https://cna.asia/whatsapp • Follow us: • CNA: https://cna.asia • CNA Lifestyle: http://www.cnalifestyle.com • Facebook: / channelnewsasia • Instagram: / channelnewsasia • Twitter: / channelnewsasia • TikTok: / channelnewsasia
