In 1987 Lindsey and I climbed Jebel Toubkal, in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. At 13,671 ft (4,167 metres), Toubkal is the highest peak in North Africa. This year, in April 2022, we revisited the area and spent five days walking in the valleys and over passes around Imlil, the gateway village to Toubkal.
