Klemen Vuga highlights vs Champion Christian Southwestern Athletic Conference • Vuga, a native of Mengeš, Slovenia, played scholastically at Virginia Episcopal School in Lynchburg, VA. He averaged 9.4 points and 6.3 rebounds per game in his final two high school seasons, including 11.5 points per contest as senior, totaling 535 points in 57 games. He shot 46% from the field, and netted 18 for VES against North Cross in January of his senior season. • In Freshman year he played in 14 games off the bench scored four points in collegiate debut, dunking on first touch against Hofstra.Posted season bests of 10 points and six rebounds vs. Canisius and had five points, five rebounds at Siena. • In Sophomore year played 12 games off the bench, hit a three at Pitt in a win.Blocked a shot in three straight appearances and made a three in MAAC quarters vs. Niagara • In his Junior year named to CAA Spring Commissioner’s Academic Honor, finished third on MU in scoring and second in rebounding, ranked 10th in CAA in blocked shots and ninth in offensive rebounds led Hawks with 24 blocked shots. Had seven rebounds on opening night at Seton Hall, posted 15 points on 6-16 against Cornell.
