Assembling Polytunnel Hoops

Polytunnel hoops are supplied in two, three or four piece sections. • We recommend assembling hoops on a flat base and lifting into position on the foundation tubes. • The sections of the hoop are slotted together and the joints fixed with a self drill screw. (The self drill screw should be positioned to face inside the polytunnel - avoiding contact with the cover). • When first assembled, hoops may appear to be wider than your chosen polytunnel - this is normal and the hoops are simply pulled into position on the foundation tubes, set at the relevant width. • If using Cover Tensioning Tubes with your polytunnel, a tensioning clamp is placed either around the hoop or the Cover Tensioning Tube (depending on the size of polytunnel).
