Every day and every moment. • It unites us in a single message. • It is important to create a Torah as a masterpiece that possesses the highest artistic value, and to produce one with the most valuable and durable materials. • • It is a sacred text that has been passed down for centuries. This Torah represents the excellent craftsmanship of the artisans. • This modern creation has been made to last forever • ACC Arte Scritta has entrusted the creation of this book to a leading international contemporary artist and to the best Italian craftsmen. • The 27 original artworks by Master Baruj Salinas, were inspired by the 5 books of The Torah. These contemporary paintings bring to life the words from the distant past. • This book contains introductory texts, written by some of the most renowned personalities in biblical studies, that have been translated into 4 languages. These personalities include: • Professor Adolfo Roitman - Curator of the Dead Sea Scrolls and Head of the Shrine of the Book at the Israel Museum of Jerusalem • Professor Otello Lottini - professor of art at the University of Rome • Monseñor Sergio Pagano - Prefect of the Vatican Secret Archives • Rabbi Abraham Skorka - Rector of the Latin-American Rabbinical Seminary • This edition also includes a blessing from the Holy Father Pope Francis, received by ACC Arte Scritta on September 18th 2016. It reads: • • “I want to bless all those who have worked in the production of this Torah, which is the word of G-d, that must unite us in love forever.” • Due to the uniqueness of this masterpiece, only 126 copies will be produced for the world. • A number of these copies will be reserved for the most renowned museums and institutions that will preserve them for the future generations. The other editions will be set aside for private collections and various congregations around the world. • This edition will include a supplementary letter which recognises the names of the people who have participated in this project, and contributed their patronage and legacy to this project’s modern vision.
