After exploring the Mon district and the lifestyle of the Konyak tribe of Nagaland, I started my journey to the Kiphire district of this state from Kohima. From Kohima, the journey to Kiphire is long and arduous. It will roughly take 12 hours to reach there. • I stayed in a village called Pungro in the Kiphire district. Kiphire is home to Yimchunger naga tribes apart from some other tribes. In this video, you will see my journey to Pungro full of adventures and tough conditions. • After Pungro, I went further and reached Thanamir village to do the Mount Saramati trek. Mount Saramati is the highest peak in Nagaland. Located at the India-Myanmar border, Mt. Saramati has an altitude of 3,826 m (12,553 ft).
