West Point Organist Craig Williams plays the Prelude on Vexilla Regis by Jeanne Demessieux. This is the fifth in a collection of 12 Choral Preludes on Gregorian Chant Themes, Opus 8. Here Demessieux places the chant in the left hand, with staccato chords under a sustained melody which is then heard clearly.
